Venue: Crystal Gardens at Navy Pier

Vibe: Romantic

Best part of our wedding? My favorite part of the wedding was our ceremony. We were married by the federal judge Dev clerked for after law school and he incorporated traditions from each of our backgrounds (Filipino, American, and Indian). The groomsmen also managed to play a traditional Indian prank on me during the ceremony. We also enjoyed the traditional Indian cuisine at the reception.

Shout Outs

  • Caterer: Phil Stefani Signature Restaurants (exclusive caterer to the venue) - We appreciated that they accommodated Indian cuisine (from a legitimate Indian restaurant).

  • Florist: Atmosphere Events Group (would strongly recommend them to any bride)

  • Invitations: Wedding Paper Divas

  • Planner/Day-of coordinator: Simply Elegant Group (would strongly recommend to Chicago brides on a budget)

  • Dress from: Wolsfelt's Bridal, Suit from: Suit Supply

  • Cake: Molly's Cupcakes

  • Makeup: Ruthie Greensphan

  • Transportation by: Windy City Limousine

  • Rehearsal Dinner Venue: The Showroom at Hubbard - (Would highly recommend using this venue for rehearsal dinners and small weddings. The space is bright and clean and comes with gorgeous wood tables and chairs (the company that owns the space sells these tables and rents out the showroom to make money on the side). The venue is easy to work with on vendors (no real restrictions on who you can use and they let you bring in your own food, drink, flowers, etc.).
